Tristan has been here at MidSouth for over a year now as is currently a Co-Foreman on one of our crews. We asked him what his three favorite things about working here were, and this is what he said, “The people I work for and with; this company is full of great people. The fact that we continue to grow every single day.” and, “The diversity of work and the fact that no two jobs are ever the same.” Not only is Tristan one of our hardest workers, but he has some hidden talents as well! If graduating high school a year early wasn’t enough, Tristan was on several different travel soccer teams as a standout student athlete. He also worked at a family-owned coffee shop and knows how to make a mean cup of joe. Tristan strives to be better at everything he does. His mantra is, “there’s always room for improvement.”
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, cooking, starting new projects at home, fishing, shopping, hunting, and watching Netflix and relaxing. Tristan also has a good girl Great Dane named Denver, who apparently lives her life on the wild side.
This homeowner's floor was damp and rolling because of moisture in the crawlspace. Our team was able to remove the wet insulation and encapsulate the crawlspace preventing further issues down the line. They had seven vents in the crawlspace that we closed off to keep the outside air from bringing moisture in. We also installed a SmartSump to keep the ground water from settling under the home.
Michael's crew cleaned and dried out this Ridgeland crawlspace before encapsulating it and installing a waterproofing system to permanently keep water and moisture out. We also treated the mold with our Mold-X2 and the results are awesome! Check out the wood on the far right side.
This vented crawlspace was experiencing humidity problems, causing the floors to swell. There was also a musty smell lingering after water would get inside. Our crew closed off all the vents, preventing outside air from carrying in moisture, and sealed off the rest of the area to keep any future water problems from arising permanently.
This home was experiencing buckling floors due to moisture issues. Our team was able to install a sump pump to remove and divert the water flow. We also encapsulated under the home to keep the crawl space clean and dry and installed a dehumidifier to maintain moisture-free airflow. A sealed and dry crawl space is the secret to maintaining an energy efficient and healthy home.
We were contacted because this home was experiencing some visibly dangerous mold problems. Did you know that open ventilation under the home is actually harmful to your crawl space? Our team sealed off all outside vents, treated the mold problem, and installed our waterproofing system. All of these solutions will work together to create a healthier, more energy efficient atmosphere!
Mid-renovation, these Ruston homeowners realized the moisture and mold in their crawl space would have to be resolved before they could continue. Our team was able to treat the mold and waterproof the crawl space with our CleanSpace Liner and Drainage Matting, and our SumpPump system to maintain the freshly dried air.
