This homeowner knew they had some possible foundation issues, but due to only seeing small signs, they had decided to let it slide. Some time later, things had gotten much scarier. The northeast corner of the home was beginning to sink and slope badly, and it seemed like it was trying to take one of the rooms with it. Separation in the foundation had began, and they decided to reach out to us to see if we had a solution that could save this. Using out heavy-duty push piers, we will be able to offer the home a much stronger support. These piers are attached to the footer of the home and drilled deep into the ground, allowing the weight of the home to be transferred to tougher, more compact soils. This customer had unfortunately been caused a lot of stress by his own home. Crawlspace moisture, rotting joists, buckling floors, and much more has been affecting him for years. Aware that the moisture and humidity in his crawlspace was a major source of these issues, he tried to combat it with a regular 6 mil vapor barrier, ultimately not making any sort of difference. One day while driving, he happened to pass by one of our trucks on the way to another job. After searching up our company and giving us a call, our customer care team was able to set him up an appointment for a free estimate. One of our design specialists was sent out to examine his home and thoroughly walk through the details of our encapsulation system. Happy with what we had heard, he decided to trust us to take care of his home. Nearly a year later, our crew's work is still under his home and taking care of the moisture/humidity. This homeowner had began noticing some sinking in their driveway. Upon further inspection, they realized they could even see the void that was forming under the driveway. Water seepage was washing way the soil underneath, and unless taken care of, this concrete surface is at risk of a lot of damage. Our solution, PolyLevel, will prevent this and save them the time and money that would eventually go into having their driveway replaced. We used PolyFoam, an expanding polyurethane foam, to fill up the void and level the driveway back up. Tiny holes are drilled into the concrete so PolyFoam can be pumped in. The cure time is quick, allowing for regular use soon after installation. In order to prevent further water seepage and erosion, the cracks and joints of the driveway were sealed by NexusPro, our flexible silicone-based sealant. With these products combined, this homeowner was left happily with a safe and level driveway.
