Are small cracks in your foundation something to be worried about? While seeing small cracks in your foundation may not immediately mean catastrophic problems for your home, it likely is a warning that your home is beginning to settle. If the problem is left unattended for too long, cracks can grow larger, sloping may occur, floors can separate from walls, doors may stick, and many more issues could eventually began to show. We were able to go ahead and install our system of heavy duty foundation piers to the footer of their home, supporting and locking it in place. After already having to deal with the stress of buckling floors twice now, these homeowners were not happy to see their newly replaced floors ONCE AGAIN starting to shift. At this point, they knew something was going to have to be done in order to avoid being stuck in this expensive loop the rest of their lives. After finding out website, they decided to have one of our design specialist come out to teach them a little bit about our solution: the Crawlspace Encapsulation System. As we see in most cases, we found that excessive moisture under the home was the source of the on-going problem. As long as this crawlspace wasn't dry, they were going to continue having this problem. Fortunately, that is exactly the goal of encapsulation. We want to create a dry and clean environment under the home. This is done by first completely sealing off the crawlspace, denying access to hot and humid airflow. Inside, a heavy-duty Cleanspace moisture barrier will be installed across the crawlspace, along with a dehumidifier designed specifically for conditioning the air in the crawlspace. By combating moisture from all angles, we were able to finally put an end to their cycle of annoying floor issues.

This older gentleman had just moved into a home in Mississippi but knew something had to be done about the concrete driveway. Large sunken sections and cracks throughout the driveway left an unsightly area in front of his home full of dangerous tripping hazards. We're very glad this new homeowner was able to find us and that we were able to make his driveway much safer. We used the same process that we can use for any concrete driveway, sidewalk, porch, or patio: PolyLevel. This is an expanding polyurethane foam that we can inject underneath the concrete to fill out and gaps or avoids, strengthen the surrounding soil, and raise/stabilize the concrete. Tripping will no longer be a worry at this home!
