This old home had stood firm for a very long time, but in the recent years it was obvious things were beginning to shift. The homeowners let it continue for several years, and each year it would move a tad bit more. When large cracks began to appear and doors started sticking, they could no longer ignore the obvious signs of a settling foundation. They reached out to us and we were able to send out one of our professional design specialists, who were able to diagnose the situation. In order to stabilize the home, heavy-duty piers were attached to the footer of the home and dug deep into the ground where they would reach much tougher soils. Now being properly stabilized, this old family home will be able to safely stand for many years to come.
