This homeowner was very shocked and disappointed to find his floors buckling, AFTER he had already had them replaced for this exact reason.  Something had to change, he couldn't just continuously keep replacing these floors for the rest of his life. He reached out to us and asked for someone to come figure out what was going on. Our highly-knowledgeable design specialist, Corey, was quickly able to identify the culprit: crawlspace moisture. In order to prevent these floors from needing replaced again, a personalized plan for an encapsulation system was designed to be placed under his home. This encapsulation system takes advantage of much thicker than average CleanSpace Liner, and a specialized crawlspace dehumidifier. The attached image shows you a section of the finished system! All sources of moisture are now being combatted under his home, and the risk of buckling floors is no more.

Our design specialist arrived at this home and found a sight we see very often: a damp and messy crawlspace. We were sent out to this home to investigate why the floors had began to buckle, and the answer was almost immediately obvious. In order to save these floors, the moisture under the home had to be taken care of. Fortunately, each of our crews is as experienced as possible when it comes to crawlspaces, meaning transforming the under side of this home shouldn't be a problem. By laying a thick 20-mil vapor barrier on the ground and partially up the walls, we can protect the space from water attempting to enter through the soil. Water that continues to find its way in through intrusion, will be directed towards one of our sump pumps. This powerful pump will direct the water as far away from the crawlspace as needed. Keeping this space dry also means keeping it clean, even clean enough to use as a storage area! These particular homeowners did just that. We were honored to be able to help these homeowners fix their stressful floor problems.

These homeowners brought a multitude of problems to us, but nothing that we couldn't handle! They had to replace their floors in the past due to crawlspace moisture and wanted to find a way to avoid going through that stress again.
