We live in a 1,600 sq ft 2 story log house which gets yearly termite inspections. During these termite inspections each year, they do examine the crawl space for any damage. There never has been any sign of termite damage & I always assumed they would mention if anything else looked alarming in the crawl space. They never have mentioned anything. I was outside with my dog tonight with a flashlight and randomly decided to look into the vents into the crawl space. I don't know much about it, but what I saw alarmed me and I'm pretty sure it's not ok. There is pink insulation falling in a lot of places and I'm pretty sure an a/c duct is torn. We are also planning on selling this house next year and I highly doubt the current conditions of the crawl space will pass inspection. We need to have someone out ASAP to check it out and give us an estimate. Thanks so much!!
