Driveway Repair in Summit, MS

Challenge

A homeowner in Summit, MS was dealing with a deteriorating concrete driveway that had developed multiple cracks and uneven sections over time. The cracks not only affected the appearance of the driveway but also allowed water to penetrate the concrete, accelerating further damage. In addition, several areas of the driveway had sunk, creating noticeable tripping hazards and drainage issues. Some sections of concrete were beginning to break away along the cracks and edges, raising concerns about safety, usability, and the long-term integrity of the driveway. To hopefully avoid further cracking, settlement, or potential accidents, they reached out to us at Midsouth Crawlspace Solutions to see what we could offer for this variety of issues. They got in touch with DeRosia, one of our Customer Care Representatives, who listened to their ongoing issues and scheduled a date and time for the right System Design Specialist to go out and provide an inspection. A few days later, Donny, was at the home early in the morning to take a closer look at the driveway.

Solution

After his inspection, he created an estimate on site and sat down with the homeowners to go over his professional opinion. He determined that to restore the driveway and prevent further deterioration, we could use a combination of our proven concrete repair products, including NexusPro and our PolyLevel System. After discussing the details and having their questions answered, the understood the plan and decided to move forward with it. Our Concrete Foreman, Brian, and his crew were later sent out to put everything into action. NexusPro was applied to seal the existing cracks, creating a durable, flexible barrier that prevents water intrusion and helps protect the concrete from future damage. To address the uneven and sunken areas, PolyFoam was injected beneath the slabs to lift and level the concrete with precision. This process eliminated tripping hazards, stabilized the driveway, and improved overall appearance and functionality, providing the homeowner with a safer, longer-lasting driveway solution.
