This home in Petal, MS was having severe moisture issues due to open ventilation and a plastic sheet trapping water. It was so bad that even some of the wooden joists were rotting out from under the house. We recommend closing off all access to the outside elements and creating a waterproof seal in the crawlspace. We do this by encapsulation, which uses drainage matting and a 20 mil liner to cover the ground and walls. Our system also includes a dehumidifier and sump pump to regulate the humidity and ground water seepage.
