MidSouth Crawl Space Solutions Before & After Photos

This homeowner reached out to us and described signs of moisture problems in his crawl space. His original plan was to have fans placed underneath his home in an attempt to dry out the area, but we've seen this solution before, and it never works. We sent out one of our design specialist to introduce him to the permanent solution he really needed - the encapsulation system. Its most noticeable feature is the CleanSpace Liner, which is lined on the floors and walls of the crawl space to separate the space from the wet ground and outside air. Also installed in the crawl space is a dehumidifier and sump pump designed with crawl spaces and efficiency in mind. It is now a much safer, drier, and cleaner space, and the moisture issues the homeowner once feared are taken care of. 

This homeowner was having moisture and mold issues in the crawlspace of his townhome. He needed to find a permanent solution and found our company online. One of our Design Specialist's, Ransom Ford, went out and took a look at the issues he was facing. Ransom was able to propose a solution and we installed our system a couple weeks later! We first cleaned out the crawlspace that was full of old plastic and broken bricks. Then we sealed off all vents and openings to the outside. Finally, we installed our waterproofing system that will keep his crawlspace dry, moisture free and mold free! We left with a happy customer.

Our guys spend a lot of time in tight, cramped spaces, but every once in a while they get treated to a nice and tall crawl space like this one! Just like many of the smaller ones, this crawl space was dealing with moisture and mold issues, and the homeowner wanted to find a secure form of moisture protection. This allows us to keep the space dry and prevent growth of mold. Even with those tall walls, our crew made sure that our liner is covering each potential area for moisture intrusion, not a spot is missed! This home in New Orleans had standing water and moisture issues in the crawlspace affecting the floors above it. We pumped the water out, installed a SmartSump and Dehumidifier to keep the water out, and completely encapsulated the space to make sure this is never a problem again. 

Once encapsulated, the crawlspace needs a completely seable entry door to access it. We can provide a resealable door that will maintain the clean atmosphere of the newly dried out crawlspace.
