This home was older and our customer called us with a terrible moldy / musty smell. We cleaned the mold for our customer then did a full encapsulation so the customer will never have to worry about the mold or smell coming back! The encapsulation helps keep away moisture and mildew.

Before our intervention, the homeowner in Carthage, MS, faced a challenging situation with a strong mildew smell emanating from their crawl space, indicating moisture issues. This not only compromised their living space but also their health. As shown in the before photo, the area was in desperate need of an overhaul. Enter Midsouth Crawlspace Solutions. With our CleanSpace installation, evident in the glowing after photo, we transformed this dank area into a clean, odor-free space. Our solution not only eliminated the unpleasant mildew smell but also, more importantly, provided a long-term, moisture-proof barrier against future problems. These images showcase the results after our crew performed a lift procedure on a home using our heavy-duty piers. Not only were we able to make sure the home is safe and stabilized, we achieved a nice amount of lift as well! 

This basement was struggling with water intrusion, as most basements do. The homeowner gave us a call to see what we could do to rectify the situation. Our waterproofing system is installed under the concrete, on top of the footer. This way, it will catch all the water coming up from the ground before it breaks the surface, and will direct it into the Sump Pump we install in the lowest spot. We also covered the walls with our BrightWall plastic sheeting. Not only is it also waterproof and drains excess water right into our WaterGuard system, it brightens the dark basement and makes it a cleaner, happier looking space!

This homeowner was experience weak feeling and bouncy floors, and this wasn't the first time either. They already had to get these floors replaced once, and they weren't interested in having to go through that process again. They reached out to us and we sent one of our design specialists out to take a look and find the cause. The issue turned out to be a common one that we come across very often - crawl space moisture. At one point there was an attempt to take care of this with a moisture barrier, but as you can see in the before image, this did not hold up very well. To really tackle the moisture issue and make sure these floors stayed protected, we replaced this old liner with a substantial upgrade, our CleanSpace Liner. This liner is much more durable and covering more space, very obviously seen in the after image. That's not all though, the now sealed underside of this home is also equipped with a crawl space dehumidification system and sump pump system, which completes the ultimate moisture-proofing solution, our encapsulation system!
