New Orleans Crawlspace Before Photo 1
Here is the crawl space as we first came across it, our design specialist, Andrew, did a through inspection and found lots of damp areas and risks for mold.

Here is that same spot, but after our work was completed by one of our foreman, Ransom, and his crew! It looks completely transformed, the CleanSpace Liner gives it a whole new look. This liner isn't thrown onto the ground like your standard vapor barrier, notice how its taped and fastened to each part of the crawl space, including the floor, walls, and supports.

This is another photo of the crawl space before our system was installed. You can see more damp spots where water was seeping from the ground, and also some exposed openings in the walls, being used as vents. We want to cover each of these problematic areas, the damp soil and openings, to block out moisture and humidity from the earth and outside air.

And as you can see in this after image, we did exactly that, completely sealed everything up! Moisture from each area and in either form is prevented from affecting this crawl space.

Another before photo of this crawl space. This particular space is actually much taller than the ones we usually come across. We deal with a lot of low, tight crawl spaces, it is always a relief to get to work in one with this much space!

Another example of an expert wrapping job done by our crew. The CleanSpace Liner is also much more durable than your standard vapor barrier, its really more comparable to a pool liner, which makes it much harder to damage or tear.

This image showcases two other important parts of our system. Along with the liner, we also install one of our crawl space dehumidifiers, an energy efficient machine that is constantly working to condition the space and keep it at a safe humidity percentage. Finding a perfect spot between wet and dry air is critical for preventing mold growth and subfloor damage.

Right next to the dehumidifier is our TripleSafe Sump Pump system. This works with the dehu and the drainage matting under the liner to collect water from the ground, leaks from the walls, and collected water from the dehu, all to then be sent out and away the crawl space. It is backed up by several emergency pumps, hence the "Triple" in the name. One is even battery-powered, so your space can stay dry even in the case of a power outage!

One last after photo to show off the proud work our crew put in to make this Encapsulation possible!
