Here is a great look at the drastic effect our foundation solutions had for this home. This crawlspace in Toomsuba was holding moisture and mold, causing buckling floors inside the home. Our team treated the mold and installed our waterproofing encapsulation. This should eventually help the floors settle back down in the home. While we can't guarantee this, we've found they do lay down in most cases. 

Now this crawlspace is cleaned out, free of moisture, and insulated from our encapsulation system.

This home in Louisiana was having mold and moisture problems in the crawlspace due to insulation holding water. Like a sponge, insulation will absorb water and hold on to it, nestling it close to the subfloor and joists. This leads to a bigger issue because wood + water = rot. Having a dry crawlspace is necessary to maintaining the life of your home. Once we removed the problematic insulation, we encapsulated the space leaving no room for moisture to creep in. Not only does our system free the crawlspace up to stay healthy, it also insulates it by completely sealing off every opening and crevice. So the need for insulation is now obsolete.
