This old commercial building in Ocean Springs, MS, was suffering from the results of crawl space moisture, something that can unfortunately cause problems in any home or building that is raised off the ground. They reached out to us looking for the best solutions to combat this, and fortunately we have a whole team expertly trained in the ins and outs of crawl spaces and their various issues. We sent out one of our design specialists, Scottie, who crawled the entire underside and created a detailed estimate and a plan. It was then one of our highly trained crews, led by David, who went out to the home and actually put everything into place. Now, this building is fitted with our CleanSpace Liner, a crawl space dehumidifier, and a sump pump system that'll make sure moisture has no way of making any more lasting damage. Encapsulating a crawlspace while the home is being built is a great way to proactively protect your investment instead of waiting until something goes wrong. A buildup of moisture in his crawlspace prompted this customer to give our office a call. He was starting to see his floors buckle and found mold on the joists under his home. Melissa performed the inspection and built a custom solution for his home. The crawlspace was a little low sitting right at 14-18" but we still managed to get the work done. 

We cleaned out the loose debris and installed our encapsulation system. The home was around 1,500 square feet so this job took about 2 days to complete. Most of our jobs are well under 3 days worth of work and our crews are meticulous about keeping your home clean during the install!

Due to moisture coming up from the crawlspace, this home's subfloor had rotted out beneath them. The moisture buildup was also causing their hardwood floors to buckle. Unfortunately, this homeowner's crawlspace was struggling with moisture so badly he had to replace his subfloors due to rot. He gave us a call to make sure his new wood didn't rot again. The vented crawlspace was allowing moisture to constantly be brought in. He also had plastic sheeting laying on the ground, trapping moisture under it. Without creating a moisture barrier, plastic will do more harm than good. Our CleanSpace liner is similar to a pool liner in durability and thickness. 

We used this product to seal off the crawlspace from the outside after sealing off the vents. We also installed a pump and dehumidifier to make sure nothing gets built up and stays at safe levels. We left with a happy customer!
