Large home in Philadelphia, MS with water seeping through the concrete block walls of the basement. This entire basement is living space. We installed our Waterguard system in the floor and adhered our BrightWall system to the walls to direct any water that comes into the basement to the sump pump, that would then discharge it outside.
Located at the Neshoba County Fair, this cabin showed clear signs of structural challenges, with its cinder blocks leaning, and a joist twisting with age. As seen in the before photo, these issues can impact the integrity of any structure. After evaluating the situation, we installed our SmartJack® System, expertly stabilizing and leveling the crawl space, evident in the after photo. This galvanized steel system enhances durability and alignments, ensuring consistent support. In Philadelphia, MS, we approach every project with precision, leaving spaces stronger and more secure than before.
During heavy and even during some light rains, water annoyingly found its way into these homeowner's basement. Looking to avoid damage, mold, and other issues, they reached out to our company to look for a solution. "Crawlspace" may be in our name, but we're at experts at all things basements as well, so we sent out one of our specialists for a free estimate. After a thorough inspection, they created a plan the same day to help keep this basement dry. This included lining the walls with our Clean Space Liner, installing our WaterGuard system around the base of the walls, and putting in both our dehumidifier and sump pump system. Combined, these products make sure all water is collected, sent away from the crawl space, and humidity stays low. These homeowners no longer have to stress and get ready to clean after every rain.
These are two images featuring a home in Carriere, Mississippi, that one of our crews installed a crawlspace encapsulation for. The most striking feature of an encapsulation is our Cleanspace Liner, which may appear similar to the everyday vapor barrier, but quality-wise, they can't be compared. These images should help you understand what you get with a standard vapor barrier installation, and a Cleanspace installation. The vapor barrier is not covering the entire crawlspace and can be easily pulled/torn away. The replacement, our Cleanspace Liner, covers not only the entire ground, but is installed up the supports as well, making sure moisture is blocked from all angles. It gives a cleaner look as well, anyone can feel safe crawling in this space now!
Repeat customers are the best! This homeowner had worked with us before so she called our company first when she needed work done on a different property. This home was struggling with cracks in the brick due to shifting. The crawlspace was holding moisture as well and possibly adding to the foundation issues. Corey Becker inspected the home and proposed a solution for both the moisture and foundation issues.
We installed the push piers around the portions of the house that were sinking and reduced the crack widths significantly. This stabilized the home and will keep it from shifting again. We also installed our waterproofing system in the crawlspace, keeping the moisture out for good. Both of these services add significant value and longevity to the home.
