This Columbus Mississippi crawlspace had sagging joists that were starting to cause issues inside the home. It also was holding water. As we know, crawlspaces and moisture go together like Mexican food and tight jeans and NO ONE wants that.
Our production crew was able to come in and stabilize the joists with our SmartJack support posts. These steel posts are adjustable and can be adjusted over time as needed. This makes them an ideal choice as houses are constantly shifting through the years. This is a quick install and in many cases, homes can be restored to their original positions.
We also encapsulated the crawlspace because so much moisture was being brought in and staying. Our team sealed off the vents, installed our CleanSpace Liner and encapsulation system.
This basement was struggling with water intrusion, as most basements do. The homeowner gave us a call to see what we could do to rectify the situation. Our waterproofing system is installed under the concrete, on top of the footer. This way, it will catch all the water coming up from the ground before it breaks the surface, and will direct it into the Sump Pump we install in the lowest spot. We also covered the walls with our BrightWall plastic sheeting. Not only is it also waterproof and drains excess water right into our WaterGuard system, it brightens the dark basement and makes it a cleaner, happier looking space!
Our MOLD-X2 treatment is a powerful spray we use to help the crawlspace get rid of mold. It works in seconds, safely eliminating mold spores and stains.
We always recommend encapsulation when mold is present so we can treat the underlying issues. Otherwise, mold treatment is just a bandaid that will eventually have to be redone.
This homeowner's floor was damp and rolling because of moisture in the crawlspace. Our team was able to remove the wet insulation and encapsulate the crawlspace preventing further issues down the line. They had seven vents in the crawlspace that we closed off to keep the outside air from bringing moisture in. We also installed a SmartSump to keep the ground water from settling under the home.
This customer was referred to us by a friend. We were able to provide them with a free estimate, and completed their job shortly after. They were experiencing heavy mold and moisture problems. We cleaned out the crawlspace, installed a sump pump, waterproofing system, and dehumidifier.
This Petal homeowner called for an inspection because they were having some moisture and mold issues under their house. This was due to having a dirt crawlspace and open venting. Originally, it was thought that vents would circulate dry air throughout the crawlspace, thus keeping it dry. That is false. Once air enters the crawlspace, it is trapped, making the humidity levels rise. All this humid air will travel up into your home making the AC units work harder to keep up with the draft.
Our encapsulation system totally seals off the crawlspace so humid air stays where it belongs; outside. We install a sump pump in the ground to rid the crawlspace of ground water seepage. Then, we install our 20 mil liner and waterproof the ground and walls. Topping it off, we put a dehumidifier in to keep the air dry and healthy. This system together is proven to regulate the crawlspace atmosphere and prevent moisture from building up and creating issues.
This home's crawlspace was filled with moisture, causing the oak floors to buckle. This was a father calling our company and trusting us to complete the work on his daughter's home.
We encapsulated the space and made it so the crawlspace would dry out in hopes of the floors settling back down. Either way, this won't happen again with our system in place and will maintain a clean environment from here on out.
This Forrest County home had a serious problem with standing water staying underneath their home. It was causing severe moisture issues in the wood, leading to mold and potentially rot. Our Design Specialist, Melissa Johnson, was able to curate a custom plan to get this home encapsulated, dry, and healthy. Adam's crew installed our proven system to complete this project. The homeowner was extremely pleased with our work and had this to say about our company, "Great work. Quick and painless. Friendly folks. Overall excellent experience!"
This crawlspace in Hattiesburg was holding water and having some mold issues. The homeowner called many different companies to come out and give them quotes and ended up choosing our team to take on their project! Rick Killingsworth designed their custom proposal and solution, and Mike Lawler led a team to complete the job. We cleaned out the crawlspace to start, sealed up the outside vents to prevent air from bringing in moisture, installed a sump pump, and completely waterproofed the crawlspace.
Before and After we installed our waterproofing system in a local home! This home had some moisture struggles that we were able to alleviate with our waterproofing system.
Moisture in the crawlspace was causing this home's floors to buckle inside the living area. Melissa Johnson, one of our talented Design Specialists, performed the inspection and estimate on this home.
From our estimate, the customer agreed that this was the best way forward and had the encapsulation put in. We cleaned out any debris and were careful not to disturb the wires, pipes, and other units down in the crawlspace. Now his crawlspace will stay free of moisture and his floors won't buckle or cup again.
This homeowner was in the process of moving and needing to sell their home. Their inspection found that the wood joists under the house were not rotted, but holding moisture that could lead to rot down the road. In order to sell the home, they had to get this taken care of. Henry Bennett, one of our Design Specialists, went out and did his own inspection. We found that his wooden joists were in fact reading above the normal range. Our production crew came in and laid down a vapor barrier so that the home would stay in great condition from here on out. Preventative measures are so important and save you money in the long run.
Though there was plastic sheeting down in parts of the crawlspace, this home in Kokomo was still having moisture issues with their crawlspace. As we commonly see, the moisture was causing their floors to buckle inside the home. Thankfully, they called our office and we were able to help them come up with a personalized solution for the issue!
Melissa Johnson was the rep for this home, and walked them through the process of encapsulation. They decided it was their best option and had it installed! We removed the plastic sheeting as it holds and traps water droplets, causing mold and musty smells. Our system will eliminate these smells and helps the crawlspace stay clean and dry. Once the moisture is gone, the floors usually settle down as they dry out.
This home in Poplarville, MS was set on part slab and part conventional foundation. The middle of the home was on top of a crawlspace that was having significant moisture issues. It was apparent in the wooden subfloor that the moisture was causing mold to grow.
Thankfully, our team was able to treat the mold and install our waterproofing system under the home. This will help keep the wood safe and strong, and dry out the crawlspace.
This home in Brookhaven had plastic sheeting down, causing more harm than good. It was trapping moisture in the crawlspace allowing mold and plant life to grow. It also contained an open ventilation system that was continually bringing in more air, filled with condensation, further aggravating the issues.
Henry Bennett performed our free inspection and presented this family with our solution. We moved forward with the proposal, completing the clean out, mold treatment, product installation, and full encapsulation system. Now they have a fantastic crawlspace that will stay clean and dry. It will even help reduce their energy bills as the crawlspace temperature stays extremely close to that of the house.
This home was struggling with foundation settlement and causing cracks in the outside brick and concrete. Henry proposed a solution with push piers, and Cody, Ethan, and Jamie installed them. They left with a happy customer!
This well maintained, beautiful home in McComb Mississippi called us because they were having standing water in their crawlspace and their floors had started buckling. We know that this is not an issue with the floors, but rather an issue under the home with a buildup of moisture. Our production crew came in, cleared the crawlspace of debris, and installed our proven waterproofing system.
We were referred to this homeowner through a past customer. They were having moisture issues in the crawlspace and trying to figure out how to solve them. Brett DiBiase came out and performed our inspection and presented an estimate. Then Michael Lawler and his crew were able to install the encapsulation system under their home, defending it against moisture intrusion, permanently.
This crawlspace had a very serious mold problem and called our team to help.
Our production crew knocked it out of the park. Just look at that before and after!
This home in New Orleans had standing water and moisture issues in the crawlspace affecting the floors above it. We pumped the water out, installed a SmartSump and Dehumidifier to keep the water out, and completely encapsulated the space to make sure this is never a problem again.
Once encapsulated, the crawlspace needs a completely seable entry door to access it. We can provide a resealable door that will maintain the clean atmosphere of the newly dried out crawlspace.
This crawlspace in Denham Springs was holding water pockets, keeping all the wooden joists and posts wet. Some were rotting from the excess moisture. Henry Bennett performed our free inspection and set up a custom system for their home. Cody and his team installed the final product and they now have a happy, healthy crawlspace!
When installing our encapsulation system, we always install a sump pump in the ground. The pump will fill up to a certain level and the system is designed to automatically send it through the smart pipe, down the flow guard, and out through the pop-up outlet located away from the house. Our crew is dedicated to keeping your yard looking undisturbed!
This crawlspace in Toomsuba was holding moisture and mold, causing buckling floors inside the home. Our team treated the mold and installed our waterproofing encapsulation. This should eventually help the floors settle back down in the home. While we can't guarantee this, we've found they do lay down in most cases.
Now this crawlspace is cleaned out, free of moisture, and insulated from our encapsulation system.
This home in Louisiana was having mold and moisture problems in the crawlspace due to insulation holding water. Like a sponge, insulation will absorb water and hold on to it, nestling it close to the subfloor and joists. This leads to a bigger issue because wood + water = rot. Having a dry crawlspace is necessary to maintaining the life of your home. Once we removed the problematic insulation, we encapsulated the space leaving no room for moisture to creep in. Not only does our system free the crawlspace up to stay healthy, it also insulates it by completely sealing off every opening and crevice. So the need for insulation is now obsolete.
This crawlspace was set right above our 12" benchmark to install an encapsulation. Anything under 12" is too low for our guys and products to get under.
This house originally had lattice work wrapped around the perimeter of the crawlspace, leaving it susceptible to outside air. Thankfully, the homeowner had this bricked in, in anticipation of the encapsulation. Once this was done, our guys came out and installed our encapsulation system utilizing the sump pump, dehumidifier, drainage matting, and 20 mil liner. Now this crawlspace will be able to dry out without the influence of humidity and ground water seepage.
