Both ground moisture and condensation was creating a moisture issue in this crawl space, resulting in an even worse issue with high humidity. There once was an attempt to combat this with a standard vapor barrier, but that did not manage to take care of the issue, and as you can see in the before image, it had resulted in a mess. After a thorough inspection from one of our design specialists, the homeowners decided to let us work our magic and bring in a real and permanent solution. We replaced the old vapor barrier with much a more durable and secure CleanSpace Liner. In the after image, you can also see our dehumidification and sump pump systems, both strategically involved to lower humidity and moisture content, thus lowering risk under the home. Great job team!
