These new homeowners had inherited this home from their father and wanted to make sure it was kept in safe condition for many years to come. Previously, there was an attempt to help keep the underside of the home safe from moisture with a basic vapor barrier. Despite this, the floors had still been affected and buckled from crawl space moisture over the years. This wasn't much of a surprise, as we found the old barrier and the rest of the crawl space in pretty rough condition. The second image is a pretty striking difference, thanks to our replacement, the CleanSpace Liner. It is much more durable and it covers much more of the space below. This was also paired with several more of our crawl space products, including a crawl space dehumidifier and sump pump system. Sealing off the space and installing these products creates our encapsulation system, the perfect solution that will continue to keep this important home safe from moisture and humidity.

The crawl space ground was wet and creating a humid and dangerous space, even the insulation was soaked and falling from the joists. Fortunately the encapsulation system acts as a sealed and regulated space, where the removed insulation will not even need to be replaced.
