Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

A new home and a baby on the way meant this family wanted a healthy start. After mold was discovered in the crawl space during their home inspection, our team encapsulated the crawl space, treated the organic growth, and improved the home's air quality, helping create a cleaner, healthier home for their growing family. 

These homeowners had just finished a major remodel on their home, and they wanted to make sure their timely and costly investment would remain protected. In the hotter months of the year, condensation and humidity in their crawl space skyrocketed, and they knew this could be a problem. They reached out to us to see what could we do to tackle the moisture in their crawl space and prevent future damage. One of our system design specialist, Andrew, was able to introduce them to the encapsulation system and design a plan for the underside of their home. Fast forward to now, and one of our talented crews has already been out to put the system in place. Our durable CleanSpace Liner, a crawl space dehumidifier, our sump pump system, and more have been installed in the now sealed off crawl space to create a dry environment, safe from moisture and mold damage. Mid-renovation, these Ruston homeowners realized the moisture and mold in their crawl space would have to be resolved before they could continue. Our team was able to treat the mold and waterproof the crawl space with our CleanSpace Liner and Drainage Matting, and our SumpPump system to maintain the freshly dried air. 

This isn't your average vapor barrier! Time and time again we've been out to look at homes and found the remains of dirty, torn, and pulled up standard crawl space vapor barriers. They just aren't cut out to handle the fight against moisture damage, but the CleanSpace Liner certainly is! In the second image you'll see this once exposed crawl space completely protected with this liner, not just ground, but the walls and supports of the crawl space as well. Ground and wall seepage is completely blocked, and this barrier won't be moving anywhere!

This homeowner from Lake Charles gave us a call because they were having some moisture and mold issues in their crawlspace. Brett DiBiase performed the inspection and found a moisture content of a whopping 25% in the wooden joists. This is extremely high since mold can START growing when the moisture content is at least 16%. 

Fortunately, we were able to treat the mold and install our waterproofing encapsulation system in the crawlspace of this beautiful home. We completed the job with a dehumidifier to maintain the dry atmosphere and a sump pump to keep the ground water out. We left with a happy customer!
