Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

This homeowner from Lake Charles gave us a call because they were having some moisture and mold issues in their crawlspace. Brett DiBiase performed the inspection and found a moisture content of a whopping 25% in the wooden joists. This is extremely high since mold can START growing when the moisture content is at least 16%. 

Fortunately, we were able to treat the mold and install our waterproofing encapsulation system in the crawlspace of this beautiful home. We completed the job with a dehumidifier to maintain the dry atmosphere and a sump pump to keep the ground water out. We left with a happy customer!

Moisture issues under this home caused a variety of problems for this homeowner, mold, smells, buckling floors, and more. Fortunately, we also have a variety of issues made to tackle each one. The crawl space we entered into was full of moisture, damp insulation, and a vapor barrier that wasn't exactly doing a great job. The now encapsulated crawl space has removed those unnecessary pieces, and brought the best of the best when it comes to moisture control.
