This crawlspace was holding moisture, causing a mildew smell inside the home. Our crew cleaned out the debris and installed our full encapsulation system. We also sealed off all the vents to keep the outside air, outside. Our sump pump and dehumidifier will keep it dry, clearing out the musty smell. This is the only way to truly rid your crawlspace of smells and moisture.
You don't have to settle for a wet, damp crawlspace that smells bad. Call our office today to for a free estimate. We can restore your home so that moisture stays OUT of your crawlspace.
This home was older and our customer called us with a terrible moldy / musty smell. We cleaned the mold for our customer then did a full encapsulation so the customer will never have to worry about the mold or smell coming back! The encapsulation helps keep away moisture and mildew.
These two images were taken inside the same exact crawlspace and show the drastic difference between our CleanSpace Liner and the vapor barrier that was previously in the crawlspace.
In these two photos, you will find two different vapor barriers underneath the same home. The first, is a standard, flimsy barrier that obviously did not hold up very well. You'll find barriers like these under many homes, and they are unfortunately not really doing much to prevent moisture or humidity. Even with the barrier, this home was still dealing with a damp crawlspace and buckling floors. The second, is our heavy-duty 20-mil CleanSpace Liner that we installed under the home. This durable barrier lines the ground, walls, and supports and permanently separates the crawlspace from the ground. This is one part of our encapsulation system, designed to keep homes like this one, safe from moisture.
