Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

The muddy floor you see here is a sign of a crawlspace that is suffering from moisture and humidity issues. The homeowners found out a bit too late and decided to call us once their floors started buckling. The underside of the home is now kept dry using our Cleanspace Barrier and crawlspace dehumidifier. Moisture damage is no longer a worry for these homeowners.

This homeowner was experience weak feeling and bouncy floors, and this wasn't the first time either. They already had to get these floors replaced once, and they weren't interested in having to go through that process again. They reached out to us and we sent one of our design specialists out to take a look and find the cause. The issue turned out to be a common one that we come across very often - crawl space moisture. At one point there was an attempt to take care of this with a moisture barrier, but as you can see in the before image, this did not hold up very well. To really tackle the moisture issue and make sure these floors stayed protected, we replaced this old liner with a substantial upgrade, our CleanSpace Liner. This liner is much more durable and covering more space, very obviously seen in the after image. That's not all though, the now sealed underside of this home is also equipped with a crawl space dehumidification system and sump pump system, which completes the ultimate moisture-proofing solution, our encapsulation system! 

This conventional foundation home had some soft and sagging spots throughout the floors. Previously, the homeowners had try to prevent this from getting worse by having a vapor barrier placed under their home, but as the floors got worse, it became clear that it wasn't gonna do the job. They reached out to us, desperate to find a solution that would actually save their floors. One of our system design specialists, Andrew, was sent out to the home to take a look and offer them just that, in the form of our encapsulation system. This system involves sealing off the crawl space and turning it into an environment that is constantly fighting back against moisture. In the picture you can see our CleanSpace Liner, crawl space dehumidifier, and our sump pump system. Each is working against ground water seepage, leaks, and humidity, making sure that moisture damage cannot come from any angle.

This home had a dirty crawlspace that caused issues all throughout the home. Unencapsulated crawlspaces can lead to a variety of moisture issues such as mold and mildew as well as buckling and cupping floors. We came in and fully encapsulated their crawlspace to make sure this home would stay nice and clean!
