With the skill of our design specialists and crew members, this crawl space in Richland, MS went from messy, dirty, and wet, to clean, easy navigable, and dry! The crawl space ground was wet and creating a humid and dangerous space, even the insulation was soaked and falling from the joists. Fortunately the encapsulation system acts as a sealed and regulated space, where the removed insulation will not even need to be replaced. This is done with the combination of several products, including the beautiful CleanSpace Liner you see separating the space from the wet ground. Along with our crawl space dehumidifier and sump pump system, the underside of the home is kept at the perfect humidity to prevent moisture damage and the mold that may come along with higher moisture contents. Being able to move throughout the crawl space without all the mess and insulation is also just an added bonus! We love seeing before and afters and we're very happy to see such excellent work from our team.
We were referred to this homeowner through a past customer. They were having moisture issues in the crawlspace and trying to figure out how to solve them. Brett DiBiase came out and performed our inspection and presented an estimate. Then Michael Lawler and his crew were able to install the encapsulation system under their home, defending it against moisture intrusion, permanently.
The wood underneath your floors, including subfloors and joists, are susceptible to damage from moisture lingering in your crawl space. We get many calls from homeowners who want us to come out and look at their sinking or soft floors, and most of the time, moisture is the cause! We moisture-proof and encapsulate a lot of crawl spaces in order to prevent this damage or further damage, but sometimes the wood is just too far gone. Did you know that we can also handle that as well? Check out the work recently done by our wood-working crew!
This well maintained, beautiful home in McComb Mississippi called us because they were having standing water in their crawlspace and their floors had started buckling. We know that this is not an issue with the floors, but rather an issue under the home with a buildup of moisture. Our production crew came in, cleared the crawlspace of debris, and installed our proven waterproofing system.
This home was experiencing severe moisture issues in the crawlspace causing mold and musty smells. Andrew Gallagher inspected the home and found the wood to be holding 15-60% moisture along the joists. This is dangerous because it will cause toxic mold and rot to from on the wooden foundation. It especially thrives in a damp, dark atmosphere, like under your house. Before this issue got worse, our team came in and totally dried and cleaned out the crawlspace. We installed our sump pump in the lowest spot to collect the ground water, then put our vapor barrier CleanSpace liner in and up the walls, and finally connected our dehumidifier to the system to get the air fresh and clean. Our system totally regulates the crawlspace humidity and moisture content, keeping the home stable, dry, and clean for years and years to come.
