This home in Harvey, LA not only looks much nicer after installing our encapsulations system, it also is much safer! The floors of this home are protected from all forms of moisture damage, such as buckling, mold, and rot. Our design specialist was happy to discover that this crawl space was pretty tall compared to the low spaces we typically see. But the other main thing he noticed was the vapor barrier that had been under the home for quite a while. We do not know when it was installed, but it clearly did not stand the test of time. There were rips, completely pulled away exposes areas, and mud and plenty of other stains on top of the liner. This liner not doing its job meant that moisture was still having its effect on the crawl space. Fortunately, we came prepared with the needed replacement!
