Cracking and gaps in concrete can really be frustrating, and as seen in the before photo, they can interfere with both the look and functionality of your driveway. That was exactly the challenge faced by one Madison, MS homeowner. We addressed this issue by using our NexusPro Joint Sealant, shown in the after photo. As the seasons change from heat to frost, concrete will expand and contract. NexusPro doesn’t crack under pressure, stays pliable, and holds up against UV rays, providing a lasting solution to concrete problems like these!
Here is a close-up look at the effect our concrete systems had on this chunk of concrete walkway. We're very proud of this, and each part of the sidewalk we were able to level and seal with both our PolyLevel and NexusPro systems.
The magic of NexusPro! These two before and after images allow you to see exactly where our talented team used our product, NexusPro, to seal up these cracks and prevent any further damage. NexusPro is a highly flexible, durable, and UV-resistant sealant that we highly recommend for pesky and unappealing cracks like these. Sealing the cracks and removing that entry for water means no more erosion, which means no more fear of settlement. We are very proud of the work from both our design specialist, Andrew, and our foreman, Brian, and all the work they contributed to make this project possible!
This homeowner called because his driveway was riddled with cracks, and he was aware of the potential problems this could bring. Cracks leave openings fore water and moisture to slip into and beneath the slab. If this continues for too long, serious erosion can occur, which can lead to settlement and broken concrete. We sent one of our design specialists out, Matt, to inspect the driveway and create a plan. The main component in this plan is our NexusPro system, a sealant that is flexible, yet durable and perfect for situations just like this. Sealing the cracks and joints with NexusPro creates a strong UV and weather-resistant barrier, meaning that no matter how hard it might rain, moisture cannot find its way in. We have solutions for sunken concrete as well, but luckily we were able to get out before it got to that point!
